I finally got the adapter to mount the 63mm on my Nikon, but I ran into a slight problem. The lens goes back too far into the camera, and it's focusing past infinity. That, and it's so far back that the mirror would hit the lens. (No mirrors were damaged in the discovery of that fact) I need to space it forward a half inch or so. So the Ultraviolet images will have to wait another couple weeks while I find some parts to make it work.
I also found that I like photoshops HDR better than photomatix. It doesn't look fake or plasticy. But I do need to give it a try on a shot that has a wide difference between the highlights and the shadows.
